The Over-the-Rhine Foundation Bockfest Hall
This year's Bockfest Hall is sponsored by the Over-the-Rhine Foundation, and will be located in the former Red Cheetah/Sycamore Gardens space on East 12th Street between Main Street and Sycamore. All weekend long there will be live music, special historical and cultural exhibits and events, as well as lots of Christian Moerlein Emancipator Dopplebock, Hudy Bock, and freshly grilled brats by Kroeger and Sons Meats.

Friday, March 7
The Bockfest parade ends in front of the hall around 6:30PM, where the traditional blessing of the bock beer will take place. Join us afterwords for the Cincinnati's best german polka rock by The Bier Band and classic rock from The Tuna Project.

Saturday, March 8
Bockfest Hall opens at 12PM on Saturday, where there will be special exhibits of steins and breweriana all day long. The Bloatarian Brewing League will be having their bock beer competition, and will be available to talk about their beers and how they brew them. Don Heinrich Tolzmann will be discussing German-American culture in Over-the-Rhine, as well as signing copies of his books on Cincinnati's German heritage (books will be available for purchase as well). There will also be additional German and historical events presented by organizations such as the Munich Sister City Association of Greater Cincinnati.


On Saturday night at 6:30PM, there will be a special VIP unveiling of the newest Christian Moerlein Barbarossa Stein designed and produced by Rookwood Pottery. Tickets are available from Rookwood.


Aftewords, everyone is invited to join us for live music by Jake Speed and the Freddies.

Sunday, March 9
