The Over-the-Rhine Foundation Bockfest Hall
This year's Bockfest Hall is sponsored by the Over-the-Rhine Foundation, and will be located in the historic Kauffman Brewery at 1621 Moore Street. All weekend long there will be live music, special historical and cultural exhibits and events, as well as lots of Christian Moerlein Emancipator Dopplebock, Hudy Bock, Schoenling Bock and great German food by Mecklenburg Gardens and Taste of Belgium .

Friday, March 5
The Bockfest parade ends in front of the hall around 6:30PM, where the traditional blessing of the bock beer will take place. Join us afterwords for live music by The Bier Band and Jake Speed and the Freddies. There will be food by Mecklenburg Gardens and Taste of Belgium all evening long.

Saturday, March 6
Bockfest Hall opens at 10AM on Saturday, where there will be special exhibits all day long. "Cincinnati's Brewing History" author Sarah Stephens and "German-Americana: Selected Essays" author and GACL President Dr. Don Heinrich Tolzmann will be available to talk about Over-the-Rhine history and sign copies of their books.

The Bloatarian Brewing League will be having their bock beer competition, the winner of which will be brewed as next year's Hudy Bock!
There will be food by Mecklenburg Gardens and Taste of Belgium all day long.
At 8PM, the finals of the Sausage Queen competition will be held. Watch as contestents shake their stuff and answer judges' questions to claim the most covented crown in Cincinnati.
Afterwords, join us for some "bockabilly" with live music by Strawboss.

Sunday, March 7
Bockfest Hall opens at 11AM on Sunday, after a traditional German Mass at Old St. Mary's. There will also be German cultural and historical events presented by organizations such as the German-American Citizens League of Greater Cincinnati, including the Enzian Tanz Gruppe dancers, and the Donauschwaben Schuhplattler dancers, as well as authentic German music. "Cincinnati's Brewing History" author Sarah Stephens and "German-Americana: Selected Essays" author and GACL President Dr. Don Heinrich Tolzmann will be available to talk about Over-the-Rhine history and sign copies of their books.

There will be food by Mecklenburg Gardens and Taste of Belgium all day long.
